Paje & Principal's Pride

I really could not ask for a sweeter, more wonderful daughter. Paje, our oldest child is so pleasant. She cares so much for Paris, Preston and Ava- the best big sister ever! She gives us all so much joy, and brings so much warmth into our home. Her kind heart and tender spirit make her so special in our family! When a note came home that she was getting an award for her excellent school acheivments... we ALL went to support her and show her how much she is loved!

Paje and several other students were awarded the Principal's Pride Award this week at her school. We are so proud of our sweet little Paje! GREAT JOB Paje!

Maui 2008 Vacation Highlights

Things we did

1. Relaxed

2. Sun bathed

3. Sighted some AMAZING whales and baby whales.

4. Snokeled with Turtles- Grandma helped Paje see her first turtle in the ocean with a snorkel!

5. Body Surfed at Big Beach. Grandpa got smashed while holding Paris, Jenny got mad at Grandpa, then Jenny got smashed while holding Preston... can you blame Paris and Preston for preferring the pool? Sand, salt water and huge waves... something they will enjoy more when they are older!

8. Shoped in Laihaina. Kids climbed in HUGE Banyon tree.

11. Fell in love with the Lahaina first ward! We loved the old singing Hawaiian lady in Testimony meeting, she started singing a Christmas song, and they finally had to ask her to end it... so FUNNY! Paje loved her primary class! She came out with a 32 oz. Gatorade and 2 lbs. of candy and a puzzle. Preston and Paris loved the nursery with teacher they called "Auntie" and came home with a pound of candy each and couldn't stop chattering about how fun their class was! Jenny played piano in RS. Gospel Doctrine teacher might be the best ever- she was great! We got to go two weeks in a row- neat experienc to get to know the warm, wonderful Hawaiian people!

Here we are in Hawaii... wow! We are having so much fun! We have been pooling, swimming, snokeling, relaxing in the sun, eating WAY too much Hula Pie, and just loving being here together as a family. Mom and Dad have been so fun and great to hang out with us and play with the kids. Yesterday we went to the Maui Ocean Aquarium,and tonight we are going to a luau. I will attach some photos to the blog when we get back home to the mainland. Check back soon for more highlights from our trip.
