Think. Exercise Faith. Work. ACT.

When we seek inspiration…
The Lord gives gentle promptings. These require us to think, to exercise faith, to work, to struggle at times, and to ACT.”
-Richard Scott
During our FHE last night- we read a story from July's The Friend magazine called Finishing the Temple. As a family, we were inspired to seek inspiration. We talked about how we can help others by doing so. It was so cute to hear Preston and Paris, our 3 year old twins, think of ways they could help others. "I could move my bike out of the neighbor's yard" Paris said. Paje and Preston also had great ideas for helping others. If 3 and 5 year olds can help, what can I do? SO much!!!! I know how busy life is. Believe me, with 5 kids- 5 years old and under- I completely get it. But, I know in my heart that my expectations of what I can do, what I am actually capable of- are TOO LOW. I can do more, I can be better, I can help others, I can help my family, I can live my dreams, I can create the life I've always wanted. We all can. We can with Heavenly Father's help- with inspiration that comes from him. We have to ask for that powerful inspiration with our sincere prayers. We have to do our part to receive it, then we have to act on the inspiration we receive and THINK about how with faith, hard work and action we can achieve it.
Just a little spiritual nudge as you go about your busy day- :)

Oh' man, Jen, if you only knew how many times I have felt this way! I hate feeling that life is just so busy and crazy, and this is just the ticket to get out of feeling that way. Thanks!

Wow Jen, this really hit home for me. I just want you to know what a wonderful mother you are and how much I look up to you. I appreciate your love and friendship and for being such a patient, loving, understanding, and fun person to be with. I am so lucky to be a part of your family and to not only be your sister in law, but to be your friend! Love you!!!
